Bet responsibly
Last updated: 14 August 2026
CIOREBL provides information. We do not accept stakes, hold funds, place bets or act as a bookmaker. Everything you stake is your own money, at your own risk, on your own decision.
1 What we want you to understand
- You can lose your stake — all of it. Betting carries real financial risk and no analysis removes it.
- Past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Our published record shows what has happened; it is not a forecast, and it is drawn from a limited period.
- Losing runs are normal. At the odds we operate around, extended losing sequences are a statistical certainty over time, not a sign something is broken.
- We never claim risk-free or guaranteed profit. If anyone tells you a betting service is guaranteed, they are wrong.
- Adults only. The Service is for people aged 18 or over, in places where betting is legal for them.
2 Betting within limits
- Decide your bankroll before you start, and treat it as money you can afford to lose entirely. Never bet borrowed money.
- Set a flat stake and keep it flat. Our record is measured in flat units for a reason: varying stakes by conviction is how small losses become large ones.
- Set a loss limit for a day, a week or a month — and stop when you reach it.
- Never chase losses. Increasing stakes to recover is the single most common route to serious harm.
- Take breaks. Use /disable whenever you want; nothing is delivered, recorded or billed while you are paused.
- Keep it in proportion. Betting should never be your plan for paying bills or generating income.
The pause is built in
You never have to negotiate a break with us. /disable in your group stops delivery immediately, and signals sent while you are paused do not count towards your results or your invoice. /enable starts it again when you are ready.
3 Warning signs
Be honest with yourself if any of these apply:
- You are betting more than you planned, or more than you can comfortably lose.
- You are betting to escape stress, boredom or low mood.
- You are increasing stakes to win back losses.
- You are hiding your betting from people close to you.
- Someone has expressed concern about your gambling.
- Betting is affecting your sleep, work, finances or relationships.
If you recognise yourself here, stop and use one of the services below. They are free, confidential, and used by a great many people.
4 Where to get help
| Region | Organisation | Contact |
|---|---|---|
| Netherlands | Loket Kansspel — free, anonymous advice | loketkansspel.nl |
| Netherlands | CRUKS — national self-exclusion register | cruks.nl |
| United Kingdom | GamCare — National Gambling Helpline | gamcare.org.uk · 0808 8020 133 |
| United Kingdom | GambleAware | gambleaware.org |
| United States | National Problem Gambling Helpline | ncpgambling.org · 1-800-522-4700 |
| Australia | Gambling Help Online | gamblinghelponline.org.au · 1800 858 858 |
| Worldwide | Gambling Therapy — multilingual online support | gamblingtherapy.org |
Support services also exist in most other countries; a search for “gambling help” plus your country will find the recognised national service.
5 Self-exclusion
If you have excluded yourself from gambling — through CRUKS in the Netherlands or an equivalent scheme elsewhere — you must not use this Service. Tell us and we will remove you from delivery immediately, no questions asked.
You can also ask your bookmaker to set deposit limits, loss limits or a cooling-off period on your account. Those controls sit with the bookmaker, not with us, and they work regardless of any signal service.
